Mario Pinto Named South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Player Of The Week

ROCK HILL, SC -- Lincoln Memorial University sophomore midfielder Mario Pinto has been named the South Atlantic Conference Men'sSoccer Player of the Week, league officials announced on Tuesday.

Pinto scored four of LMU’s goals last week, including a hat trick in the Railsplitters’ 5-1 win over Newberry. On the week, Pinto attempted eight shots-on-goal.

His hat trick against Newberry was just the second in the SAC this season.

Pinto and the Railsplitters will face Georgia Southwestern Wednesday evening at 4 p.m. on the Columbus State University (Ga.) campus.
