HARROGATE, TN -- Defense was the order of the day as the LMU women's soccer team and Lees-McRae combined for 16 saves for the match in a 0-0 tie Wednesday afternoon.
LMU moves to 4-3-1 with the tie, while LMC is 5-2-1 on the year.
In the first half, Lees-McRae dominated possesion of the ball as they recorded nine shots to LMU's two. Despite this differential, neither team was able to put a score on the board as the first 45 minutes ended at a 0-0 tie.
In the second half, the defense intensity remained in place as the Lady Railsplitters narrowed the shot differential to 12-9 in favor of Lees-McRae. However, neither team would be able to score as both keepers stopped every scoring opportunity.

The game would conclude in a 0-0 tie.
