A few words from freshman midfielder Lauren Dusold (Loveland, OH):
"Today we woke up and got to milk the cows for our first time ever! We also had the opportunity to scrimmage a local Brazilian team and, although they were talented, we came out with a win, 1-0. All of the teams we have met here have been so welcoming and have had such great sportsmanship! Not only that, but we are growing as a team and becoming more confident with ourselves and our teammates. All of the experiences we are having in Brazil are really bonding our team. Tonight we went to a meat restaurant and got to try all these different kinds of meats that we have never tried before. I tried chicken hearts and blood sausage."
