LMU picked up two more runs in the fourth. One came when Ashley Knight came in from third as the catcher overthrew the attempted putout at second when Heather Baker made the steal. Baker advanced to third on that error and then scored seconds later on a wild pitch.
RBI singles from Fahlin Pulliam and Erica Meguiar drove in two runs for the Patriots in the top of the fifth inning.
LMU's final run came in the sixth inning when Bridget Eicher hit the triple to right field and then scored on a wild pitch to end the game via the mercy rule.
