Adriano de Moraes

Although Adriano only played one season with the Railsplitters, his contributions as a player and as a coach were evident in LMU’s two Appalachian Region titles, their two Elite-8 wins, a SAC Tournament title, two trips to the final four and their 2007 national championship appearance.

As a graduate assistant coach, de Moraes brought to the table a great deal of soccer knowledge, quality leadership and a work ethic that was second to none.

Now entering his third year as the LMU soccer program’s full-time assistant coach, de Moraes is involved in all phases of the program. Adriano was a former player with several clubs in Brazil, including Sao Jose FC and Internacional de Limeira. He has a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from University of Vale do Paraiba (Brazil) and his master’s in education-counseling from LMU.
