Raquel Abrile

Raquel Abrile is a Brazilian born former Lady Railsplitter from Campinas, São Paulo. She played two seasons at LMU in ‘09/’10 and ’10-’11. One of the best defenders ever to wear the blue and grey, Raquel accumulated honors such as ’09 LMU defensive player of the year, ’09 and ’10 All SAC, and ’10 NSCAA All Region.

Prior to coming to LMU, Abrile played at Guarani FC in Brazil, one of the strongest women’s program in that country. Raquel now brings her impressive playing experience to the sidelines and will start her duties as graduate assistant coach in 2012. She will be involved with on-the-field training, weight room duties, equipment and game-day duties.
